Note on Husband: Joseph BURGER - shared note
Joseph Burger was self-educated, and spent 25 years in the Hungarian army. He was an honour guard for three emperors ending with Franz Josef. He was a journeyman who travelled around as a craftsman. He kept a journal which still exists and belongs to Kurt Baruch, one of his descendants. Joseph lived in the German-speaking part of Hungary.
