In 2002, through the internet, Katherine Mader made contact with Joanne Herzberg, who lives in St. Louis. She is a descendant of Joseph Muller through his son, Gerson, as is Joanne. She introduced Katherine to her uncle, Klaus, who lives in New York. They were delighted to meet new cousins, and were sent the family tree prepared by Gustav Nathan in 1910 that they had never seen. Interestingly, they had another tree prepared by a family member which contained the same language about the original ancestor Joseph Muller, who was grain broker to Napoleon. They had never seen a picture of their great-great-great-great grandfather Gerson. Katherine had a picture made, and sent to them.
